joy and rejoicing...

So when we are sealed in the temple we are told to multiply and replenish the earth so that we may have joy and rejoicing in our posterity. What a wonderful blessing and promise. Our heavenly father did not say so that we may have hardships and sorrow. I have found that using Love and Logic techniques really help me to stay focused on not getting frustrated when my children are acting out, but I am able to stay calm and focus on the outcome rather than the situation. Now every time my children make a mistake I think, "what can they learn from this" instead of "oh, I am going to lock him in his room and throw away the key." If you want more info, let me know.

The Beauty of Motherhood

I have been pondering motherhood a lot lately and feel the need to create a blog about the joys found in motherhood. I would like for this blog to be a forum for everyone to share their beautiful motherhood moments, the good and bad. You can comment to brag on your child for a great moment they had, or you can use this as a place to vent and hear from other women who have been in your shoes. We all have wisdom to share. We also need each other for a shoulder to cry on or a empathetic ear.

Motherhood entails more than just putting the kids to bed. I am hoping that we can share favorite recipies and cleaning tips. Anything that makes our life easier and more fulfilling.
